It's been a while since I lived with housemates, but Mikaela's bringing it all back. The trials and tribulations, the whispers, and the overarching consciousness of others all the time, even in your most intimate moments. Still, there"s sheer joy about it: those moments when you know you're home alone, when you (or your very vocal partner) can make all the noise you want. With the door flung wide, wide open.
